Dave wanted to ascend the Weaver and put out an email to the Paddlers ... did other folks want to do it too? ... and it seemed they did.

We assembled at the Flash, crossed it and ascended the river ... we made it up past the weir at the EA monitoring station, we dropped back to our usual lunch spot and then raced the forecast rain back to the cars ... and then the pub. We did find time to play a new game, invented by Adam ... so who can jump over that sunken log in a kayak?                                                                        Photos by Dave & Adam
